With the rise of AI tools, the number of AI-generated shit projects grew a lot. I saw how on subreddits dedicated to web development these posts started to appear, using the same presentational patterns. Somebody got tired of X, and they made Y. It's the most used one. Even overused. And they always add a dedicated website and repo links. People on those subreddits got really tired seeing this shit every day. And now these posts don't really get any traction. But I see the same or very similar pattern being used to promote AI-generated stuff on other subreddits, where people are not so used to seeing this kind of content. And these posts get upvotes. People actually believe that these projects are genuine. My fucking god. They even defend these pieces of nonsense. I'm amazed by how blind people choose to be. And it makes no sense to explain anything there, because I'd be seen as a weirdo luddite.
