Silly Three.js material hack

On my splash page I have spirals. To achieve them in 3d I used a custom Curve and TubeGeometry. Worked fine, but the tube had open ends. So the front-sided material was not rendered at specific angles. I spent some time searching for a solution, even found a custom tube generator function, which adds the caps. But then it struck me. I have no shadows, no light, just rendering the colours as is. I can simply use double-sided material and have open ends. And it will look like the ends are closed.

Silly hack, but in this context it feels like the best way to go.
