I posted about issues with moving files to USB drives on Linux. And yesterday, I yet again tried to find a fix. Because, yet again, I was frustrated by having to wait for ~20 minutes, after copying several gigabytes of data, to be able to eject the drive. And I found the solution. The visual progress became a bit slower. But, right after it was done, I was able to eject the drive. And it's amazing. Finally, no unknown factors here. Just witness the progress and get the expected result. I don't know why these settings are not the default ones. It was an issue for me from the very start I jumped to Fedora.
