Only after I went through panic attacks did I start to notice how much stress actually affects my life. Recently, I distanced from anything that could stress me out. And now when something stressful happens, I just feel it with my body. The most distinct feature is fatigue. I start to feel like I've just run half a marathon. Interesting stuff. While you are busy and don't have time for self-reflection, you can just get used to these stress levels. But then your body just can't do it any longer, and you are forced to slow down. The world is a fucking meat grinder and a lot of people just don't see it being too busy servicing this grinder.
